WINNIPEG -- Graham James will remain in custody for at least another week.
The former hockey coach and convicted sex offender -- arrested last month on nine new sex charges -- has had his case remanded to Nov. 8.
It is unclear if he will appear in court next week or set a date for a bail hearing.
James was reportedly living in Mexico before he returned to Canada last week and was taken into custody.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for him on Oct. 13, alleging he abused former NHL star Theo Fleury between 1983 and 1985 and two other alleged victims between the late 1970s and the mid-90s.
Fleuryís allegations came in January following the release of his book Playing With Fire.
James was previously sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison after he was convicted of sexual assault against Sheldon Kennedy and another man who was not named publicly.
