Dale Hunter is the OHL coach of the year for the third time.
The London Knights boss broke Windsor Spitfires coach Bob Boughner's two-year hold on the Matt Leyden Trophy.
Hunter last won the award in 2005 during the Knights' Memorial Cup season. He also won in 2003-04.
This year, Hunter led the Knights to 49 wins and a sixth Midwest Division title in the last seven years.
London was eliminated from the playoffs in seven games this week by the Kitchener Rangers.
