Majors shut down Generals

Riley Brace scored a pair of goals and J.P. Anderson stopped 20 shots for his second shutout of the Ontario Hockey League season on Friday night as the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors blanked the Oshawa Generals 6-0 at the Hershey Centre.

Dustin Ekelman, Tim Billingsley, Jordan Mayer and Brett Flemming, with his first of the season, also scored for St. Mike's, which built up a 5-0 halfway into the second period.

BATTALION 3, WOLVES 1

At Sudbury, Matt MacLeod and Philip Lane scored 2:12 apart early in the first period for the Troops. Barclay Goodrow completed the Battalion scoring in the third.

COLTS 6, 67'S 4

At Ottawa, Alex Hutchings and Bryan Cameron each scored twice as the Colts hung on after building a 5-1 lead. Matt Kennedy and Stefan Della Rovere also scored for Barrie.

STORM 4, STING 3

At Guelph, Michael Latta had a goal and three assists before the Sting rallied for three in the last nine minutes.

KNIGHTS 4, ATTACK 2

At London, Nazem Kadri netted a pair and added an assist for the winners.
