The glass in the Rimouski Colisee end is much shorter than typical Canadian Hockey League rinks. It is three feet less than the usual eight feet in the end zones and two feet fewer than the six feet along the side boards.

After much pre-tournament discussion at the GMs' meeting, the CHL opted to apply the usual rule despite the Tom Thumb glass. If the puck goes over in the defensive zone, it's still two minutes.
