The Brampton Battalion could battle tonight without one of its top generals.

Goaltender Thomas McCollum was hurt in the final minutes of Game 4 of the Ontario Hockey League final against the Windsor Spitfires on Wednesday and is doubtful for Game 5 in Windsor tonight. The Battalion trails the best-of-seven series 3-1 and probably will start backup Patrick Killeen in a must-win situation.

McCollum left Game 4 favouring a leg after Spitfires forward Dale Mitchell crashed into him. A first-round pick by the Detroit Red Wings last year, McCollum was acquired by Battalion director of hockey operations/coach Stan Butler in January. McCollum has started each of the Battalion's 20 playoff games and is 13-5-2.

Killeen has played 26 minutes in the playoffs, allowing four goals on 21 shots. During the regular season, Killeen, a sixth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2008, was 19-11-2.

Battalion rookie forward Evgeny Grachev did not play in Game 4 because of flu-like symptoms and his status for tonight is unclear.
