It was turnabout fair play for Brampton Battalion last night.

The visiting Troops scored three unanswered goals in the third period to knock off the Belleville Bulls 4-1 in Ontario Hockey League action last night. That avenged last Sunday's 3-2 home-ice loss to the Bulls but, more importantly, lifted the Battalion back to within four points of the Eastern Conference leaders with two games in hand.

Stephon Thorne and Anthony Peluso scored 70 seconds apart in the third to snap a 1-1 tie.

Evgeny Grachev and Cody Hodgson had the other Brampton goals while Brandon Mashinter, with his 30th, replied for Belleville.

COLTS 6, WOLVES 0

At Barrie, Peter Di Salvo earned his second shutout, making 26 saves. Stephen Gaskin, Ryan O'Connor, Kyle Clifford, Darren Archibald, Tyler Carnevale and Stefan Della Rovere shared the scoring.

At Sault Ste. Marie, Matt Lyall and Brendan Childerley scored early in the third for the Soo to snap a 1-1 deadlock. Alex Denezhkin and Robert Kousall had the Generals goals.

At Erie, Pa., Logan Couture scored twice in a five-goal comeback for the visitors, who trailed 4-1 in the second. Sean Jones had two goals for Erie.

STING 2, FRONTENACS 1

At Sarnia, Matt Martin's power-play at 8:25 of the third, broke a 1-1 tie. Jordan Hill gave the Sting a 1-0 lead midway in the second before George Lovatsis tied it 17 seconds later.
