Pint-sized Brandon Kozun stole the spotlight from a trio of world junior stars.

Team Canada cronies Brett Sonne, Colten Teubert and Jordan Eberle each hit the scoresheet but it was Kozun who did the most damage last night, potting a pair to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 5-2 victory over the host Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre.

"I had a lot of chances and was on the receiving end of some good passes and a couple lucky bounces," Kozun said. "But it's always nice to get a couple goals."

Kozun also had an assist, while Carson McMillan tallied twice and Paul Postma scored one of his own as Calgary notched its second road win in as many nights.

The Hitmen (50-7-3-1) will try to make it a weekend hat-trick tonight when they visit the lowly Moose Jaw Warriors (16-39-1-2).

Eberle and Mitch Czibere each scored for the Pats, while Teubert had an assist.

Hitmen netminder Marty Jones made 31 stops for his second win in as many nights, while Cochrane's Linden Rowat turned aside 34 shots for the Pats.

Sonne had an assist on Kozun's second-period powerplay marker, extending his points streak to 13 games.
