Kyle Bortis used to call Swift Current home.

He felt right at home last night.

The Hitmen winger scored once and added a trio of helpers as Calgary doubled the Broncos 6-3 last night in Swift Current.

Brett Sonne scored a pair of goals -- giving him four on the two-game road trip -- and added an assist as the Hitmen swept the four-game regular-season series against the Broncos.

Paul Postma, who was acquired in the same deal that brought Bortis to Calgary, extended his points streak to a dozen games and equalled the franchise record for goals by a defenceman with his 19th of the season.

WHL leading sniper Joel Broda and Brandon Kozun, on a penalty shot, also found the back of the net for the Hitmen (46-7-3-1).

Michael Stickland scored twice while Eric Doyle added a single for the Broncos against Calgary rookie goaltender Michael Snider.

Sonne put the Hitmen on the board early in the first period with his 35th goal of the season.

Stickland brought the home side even but Bortis replied less than a minute later and the visitors took a 2-1 lead to the dressing room.

Stickland once again evened the affair just 1:09 into the middle frame, but Calgary's red-hot powerplay struck six minutes later as Broda potted his 41st of the campaign.

Sonne and Postma scored powerplay goals early in the third period as the Hitmen seized control of the game.

Postma's goal spelled the end of the night for Broncos starter Travis Yonkman and tied the franchise mark set by Kenton Smith in 1998-99.

Kozun and Doyle, the latter goal coming in the final minute of play, rounded out the scoring.
