Keith Seabrook is having a week he won't soon forget.

The Washington Capitals prospect was selected WHL Player of the Week Monday after putting up eight points in three games.

Last night, he potted the overtime winner as the Calgary Hitmen squeezed by the Hurricanes 3-2 at the Lethbridge Enmax Centre.

Rookie defenceman Erik Bonsor and world junior star Brett Sonne scored in regulation time as the Hitmen (43-7-2-1) overcame 1-0 and 2-1 deficits.

Seabrook scored his 11th of the season 1:26 into sudden death as the Hitmen improved to 5-0 against the 'Canes this season.

Hitmen blueliner Paul Postma extended his points streak to eight games.

Finnish goaltender Juha Metsola was the major story as the Lethbridge starter kicked out 46 of 49 shots to earn his squad an important point.

The Hurricanes, in a fight for one of the final four Eastern Conference playoff spots, moved to 25-23-3-2.

Zach Boychuk had a goal and an assist for the Hurricanes, who also received a goal from Carter Ashton.

The Hurricanes were playing without three players -- Kyle Beach, Dwight King and Craig Orfino -- all of who are suspended by the WHL. 'Canes bench boss Michael Dyck was also missing due to suspension.
