The Moose Jaw Warriors can't seem to figure out the Saskatoon Blades.

After getting thumped 10-1 in Saskatoon two weeks ago, the Tribe were spanked 11-1 in Moose Jaw on the weekend.

"It's pretty embarrassing," Warriors captain Jason Bast told the Moose Jaw Times-Herald. "I don't understand how we didn't learn from it the last time they beat us like this.

"Right now, we have to do something to figure it out because this can't keep happening."

They'd better get to work.

The Blades are in Moose Jaw again Friday.

RECORDS SMASHED

Casey Pierro-Zabotel is wearing Gilbert Brule's old No. 17 with the Vancouver Giants.

They've got something else in common now.

Pierro-Zabotel racked up three points as the G-Men blanked the Chilliwack Bruins 5-0 Sunday to tie Brule's team record for points in a season with 87.

And the WHL's leading scorer has 24 games left to pad his numbers.

Giants G Tyson Sexsmith also added to his WHL career record with his 24th goose egg.
