Zach Boychuk scored a pair of goals, including a shorthanded breakaway tally, to lead Team Red to a 4-0 win last night.

Steven Stamkos and Kyle Turris also lit the lamp for the red squad in the Team Canada intrasquad game.

Here are some of last night's noteworthy players:

GOALTENDERS

Steve Mason (London Knights) -- Goalpost was the closest he came to giving up a goal.

Tyson Sexsmith (Vancouver Giants) -- Good rebound control during quiet, but perfect, night.

Jonathan Bernier (Lewiston Maineiacs) -- Glove stop on Marchand kept his team in it, beaten three times.

Leland Irving (Everett Silvertips) -- Little chance on Steve Stamkos' shot, only goal surrendered.

DEFENCEMEN

Luke Schenn (Kelowna Rockets) -- Made a big open-ice hit at his own blueline.

Thomas Hickey (Seattle Thunderbirds) -- Upped his physical game.

Andrew Bodnarchuk (Halifax Mooseheads) -- Stepped up offensively and disrupted opposing forwards.

Karl Alzner (Calgary Hitmen) -- Calm, cool and collected. Outlet passes were always on the tape.

Drew Doughty (Guelph Storm) -- Bad giveaway led to shorthanded goal.

Logan Pyett (Regina Pats) -- Defensive miscue led to third Red goal.

Keaton Ellerby (Moose Jaw Warriors) -- Scored only goal during exhibition shootout of d-men.

Brendan Smith (Wisconsin Badgers) -- Got beat defensively twice in the slot.

FORWARDS

Ryan White (Calgary Hitmen) -- Strong, gritty game, great cross-ice feeds on PP.

Zach Boychuk (Lethbridge Hurricanes) -- Best player on the ice, two nice goals, including shorthanded marker.

Shawn Matthias (Belleville Bulls) -- Wasn't afraid to take the puck hard to the net.

Brad Marchand (Val d'Or Foreurs) -- Played role of superpest.

Kyle Turris (Wisconsin Badgers) -- Capitalized on turnover and beat Bernier.

Steven Stamkos (Sarnia Sting) -- Speed was hard to handle, great shot to the roof on first goal.

Wayne Simmonds (S.Ste. Marie Greyhounds) -- Physical, but failed to get the puck deep on penalty kill.

Stefan Legein (Niagara IceDogs) -- Strong playmaking ability; picked up fourth point in two games.

John Tavares (Oshawa Generals) -- Hand-eye co-ordination is ridiculous.

Riley Holzapfel (Moose Jaw Warriors) -- Great vision, created offensive opportunities.

Brandon Sutter (Red Deer Rebels) -- Strong work along the boards.

Angelo Esposito (Quebec Remparts) -- Quick feet in offensive zone had opposition scrambling.
