If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Hockey Canada is ready to follow that adage regarding the coaching staff of the Canadian junior team.

Sources say head coach Craig Hartsburg and assistants Clement Jodoin and Curtis Hunt will be back for the 2008 world junior championship in the Czech Republic.

Under the guidance of Hartsburg in Sweden last winter, Canada won its third consecutive world-junior gold. Canada went 6-0, as it did the previous two winters with Brent Sutter behind the bench.

Five players Hartsburg had in Sweden -- goalie Leland Irving, Karl Alzner, Jonathan Toews, Sam Gagner and Brad Marchand -- are eligible to return for the 2008 tournament.

Hartsburg, a former NHL defenceman, is the coach of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League.
