Shea Kewin wasn't happy with the Ottawa 67's and wanted a trade.
67's coach and GM Brian Kilrea granted his wish yesterday.
Kilrea shipped the 19-year-old forward to the Oshawa Generals for a fourth-round pick in this year's OHL draft.
Kewin had eight goals and four assists with 49 penalty minutes and was -12 in 32 games.
"He's wanted a trade for a while," said Kilrea. "He wanted to play more and maybe get into penalty killing and playing on the power play."
Kilrea said he had been trying to grant Kewin his wish, but there just wasn't much in the way of interest.
"Teams were looking for that impact player, a big defenceman or a goal-scoring forward. We were looking to get a player (back), but it never materialized. There just wasn't that much action."
