As Canadians, we know the hockey tournament currently hogging our afternoons around the television as the World Juniors.
The rest of the world -- or at least the small part of the world that cares about the event -- refers to the tourney by its given name, the World Under-20 Championship.
If that handle sounds familiar, it mirrors the soccer event that will be played across Canada this summer.
But it's difficult to imagine even the most soccer-crazy countries in the world treating the FIFA event with the same passion Canucks do for the hockey version.
Through promotion and first-rate production, TSN has done its share to help build the property and in turn, the tourney has been the network's single biggest success.
In fact, more than a handful of the top-10 rated events in the network's history have come from this event with more likely to come in the next week if the Canadians follow up on their big 2-0 start.
We're guessing that there won't be many countries that can make that claim when the soccer event touches down at Toronto's BMO Field this July.
