TURNING POINT:

With the teams tied 1-1, Blair Jones jumped on a loose puck to create a 2-on-1. He found Steven Gillen, who beat Justin Pogge for the game-winner.

HIT OF THE GAME:

Hitmen LW Kris Deines made his playoff debut and wasted no time making an impact.

On his first shift, the overage enforcer destroyed Cole Simpson with a massive hit behind the Moose Jaw net four minutes in.

UNSUNG HERO:

LW Brodie Dupont threw some big hits and drove the net but his efforts went unrewarded.

SCRATCHES:

* HITMEN -- D Curtis Kelner, RW Ryan Letts and D Dylan Yeo (wrist, 6 weeks).

* WARRIORS -- D Jock Sutter, LW Garrett Robinson and LW Jason Bast.

NOTABLES:

Moose Jaw's powerplay finished the series 1-for-34 (2.9%). Calgary was 6-for-32 (18.8%) ... WHL scoring king Troy Brouwer (knee) returned to the lineup after missing Games 2-6 and scored his club's third goal.
