Trailing 3-2, the Hitmen took a pair of penalties late in the second period and Lethbridge took advantage. Rookie Ben Wright teed it up from the top of the circles to put the Hurricanes up 4-2 at the 22-second mark of the third period.

The Hitmen are making their ninth straight playoff appearance ... Calgary surrendered the fewest goals in the WHL (155) during the regular season. But they scored a franchise-low 195 ... Last night's lopsided affair ended a 10-game streak of one-goal nailbiters for the Hitmen ... Calgary, which hasn't played at home since beating Medicine Hat 3-2 March 12, has a 24-6-3-3 record at the 'Dome. The club's .750 home winning percentage is tied for fourth best in the league ... The Hitmen owned the second-best penalty-killing rate (86.3%) during the season. They've killed off 19 of 24 (79.2%) powerplays in the post-season.
