The hometown boys got the job done in Brandon.

Wheat City product Ryan White scored a pair of goals -- his 19th and 20th of the season -- to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-1 win in Manitoba.

Left winger Brodie Dupont, from nearby St. Lazare, Man., and Jeff Schultz (who was plus-four) also scored as the Hitmen snapped a three-game losing streak.

Backup goaltender Daniel Spence made 26 stops to pick up his ninth win of the campaign.

Tyler Dittmer scored the Wheat Kings' lone goal.

Calgary's powerplay finished 0-for-3 and is now just one for its last 27 attempts.

The Hitmen (44-17-2-0) outshot the Wheaties 32-27.
