HOW THE DEVIL ARE YOU?

I am very good right now. I am very happy to be back from injury.

IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT AND YOU DON'T HAVE A HOCKEY GAME. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Probably go to a movie with the buddies from the team.

PICK FIVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF.

Explosive, confident, determined, happy and positive.

WHAT WERE YOU LIKE IN SCHOOL?

I had pretty good grades. I always liked physical education and math.

WHAT'S YOUR MOST TREASURED MATERIAL POSSESSION?

I have a bronze medal from the world under-18 tournament. That means quite a lot because it was about 10 years since Sweden got a medal at that tournament. I also won the Swedish championship four times in a row before I came to Canada (under-18 and -20).

WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU PUNCHED AND WHY?

I don't know his name because you don't ask people you fight what their name is. Last summer, we went to the bar in Sweden and a guy kept hitting on one of my friends who had a boyfriend. He was pretty disgusting so I had to do something to protect her.

DID YOU OWN A CAR IN SWEDEN?

Kind of. My family has three cars. My family only drives Volvos. My dad wanted me to drive a safe car so I had a new one.

IF YOU COULD BE ANY ATHLETE, WHO WOULD YOU BE?

Wayne Gretzky because he's the biggest thing in hockey, ever. You can't even describe how good he was.

WHAT'S YOUR CULINARY SPECIALTY?

Pasta. My billets always buy me fresh pasta. But I'm not a good cooker at all.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE UNHEALTHY FOOD?

In Sweden, it's pizza. Here, it's Wendy's chicken spicey burgers. They're good.

WHAT IS YOUR CELLPHONE RING?

In Sweden, we can have real songs on our phones. There, I have For You by the Disco Boys. It's sweet.

WHAT TV SERIES DO YOU WANT ON DVD?

Lost. I love it.

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO HOLIDAY?

I seriously want to go to Japan. I'm an electronics freak and they have a lot of cool stuff there.

WHAT'S THE BEST CONCERT YOU'VE SEEN?

Nickelback, in Calgary a few weeks ago.

IS ABBA THE BEST SWEDISH GROUP?

Oh no, no, no. The one I like most is Jimmy Jansson.

IF YOU WEREN'T PLAYING HOCKEY, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?

Playing golf. I used to play golf as much as I play hockey. I was pretty good. I was second in Sweden in my age group when I was 14.

WHAT TRAIT DO YOU ADMIRE MOST IN PEOPLE?

Respect and honesty. I hate people who are lying. If you do something stupid, you have to own up to what you've done.

WHAT WAS THE BEST YEAR OF YOUR LIFE?

Last year was pretty good. I won the bronze medal.

And I also won the under-18 and under-20 Swedish championships. I played in both at the same time.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?

Something bad happening to my family. My mom, dad and sister -- they have supported me so much. Without my family, I am nothing.

WHAT'S YOUR WORST HABIT?

I'm pretty good at swearing. The coaches tell me that every day. I'm not very proud of that but I get pretty mad sometimes.

WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH?

A lot of things. I laugh every day, I'm a pretty happy boy. Brett Carson, Ryan Letts and Karl Alzner -- they're pretty funny.

WHAT'S THE UGLIEST THING IN YOUR WARDROBE?

That would have to be my Swedish blue socks that come up to my knees. Everyone I've met in Canada says they're the ugliest socks ever. I got them from the Swedish national team so everbody wears them. But, here, everybody laughs at me.

FUNNIEST THING YOU'VE SEEN DURING A GAME?

In Swift Current, there's a hole in the bench. Riley Merkley went to sit down and he fell so bad, he hit (head coach Kelly) Kisio. Everybody started laughing. But later, I did the same mistake.

COULD YOU BE CONVINCED TO KARAOKE AND, IF SO, WHAT'S YOUR SONG?

Me and my Swedish friends, if we're going to have a party, we always have karaoke.

I like to sing so I wouldn't back off, no way. I would choose a European group called West Life, the song is Flying Without Wings.
