Justin Pogge just keeps punishing the Prince George Cougars.

The Cougars are still licking their wounds after trading the world junior gold medallist last year and Pogge won't let them forget it.

The Hitmen goaltender kicked out 34 shots as Calgary beat the Cats 3-2 in Prince George last night. It was Pogge's fourth win in as many games against his former team.

Ryan White, Steve Covington and Derek LeBlanc scored for the Hitmen (34-10-1-0), who matched a season-high with their eight straight victory.

White scored on Calgary's only powerplay of the game.

Ty Wishart and Dana Tyrell replied for the Cougars.

The two clubs play again tonight in the Spruce City before the Hitmen finish off their five-game road trip in Kamloops tomorrow night. Calgary hosts the Regina Pats Tuesday night (7 p.m. at the 'Dome).
