1. Darryl Moscaluk, Hitmen: Mucker drew three penalties, scored the winner and added an assist.

2. Keegan Dansereau, Hitmen: Three points for the sophomore

3. Jared Walker, Rebels: Scored once and created some offence.

TURNING POINT:

The Rebels had just tied the game, fighting back from a 2-0 deficit, but overager Darryl Moscaluk deflected a point shot past Andrew Leslie on the powerplay to put the Hitmen back on top to stay.

SAVE OF THE GAME:

With the teams playing four aside late in the second period, Jordan Knackstedt and Paul Kurceba broke in on a 2-on-1. Knackstedt sent a perfect pass across the crease for Kurceba but Justin Pogge slid across to rob the Calgary product.

HIT OF THE GAME:

Rebels RW Ted Vandermeer was killing a penalty and decided to cut towards the Hitmen net but he never made it as Calgary blueliner Dylan Yeo sent the Caroline native crashing into the boards.

HARDEST WORKER:

Hitmen LW Cam Lilley was a thorn in the side of his former club. He scored the opening goal and later took a penalty.

* HITMEN -- D Curtis Kelner, RW Ryan Letts, C Ryan Costanzo. D Dustin Kohn and D Jeff Schultz (are still at NHL camps).

D Darryl Yacboski, D Brett Carson and LW Brodie Dupont each wore an A for last night's game. The club has yet to name their permanent captain and assistants.
