Bill Dark and his business partner Dave Rook will likely trade a few barbs this hockey season.
Dark has joined the OHL's Windsor Spitfires as goalie coach.
Rook is goalie coach of the arch-rival London Knights.
The two, along with Western Mustangs goalie and former Kitchener Ranger Scott Dickie, operate a goaltender school.
"I'm really looking forward to it," Dark said of his new position with the Spitfires -- while admitting he expects to hear it from Rook about joining the enemy.
"I've always been a fan of the league and now finally I'm getting a chance to get into it," said Dark, 44, who was hired by the Spitfires' new coach and GM, Moe Mantha.
"(Spitfires goalie) Kyle Knechtel worked for us at our school in Kitchener this summer and he put a good word in to Moe.
"Wayne Maxner (former coach and GM of the Spitfires and the Knights) also spoke up for me."
Dark will split his time between the Spitfires and the Western junior B London Nationals.
He previously was a goalie coach with the Mustangs and junior B St. Thomas Stars.
Dark is well known for his involvement with ball hockey, where he was a goalie and ran a league out of Lambeth arena.
His efforts in that sport got him into the ball hockey hall of fame several years ago.
