The Knights' Corey Perry, still the subject of much physical abuse from the Rangers, scored his ninth goal of the playoffs.

That gives Perry 24 points in 11 postseason games, one behind with Kitchener's Michael Richards who leads OHL playoff scoring. Richards has 11 goals, 14 assists in 13 games.

The Knights' checking line, anchored by Brandon Prust, who has been assigned to shadow Richards, earned its keep last night as he was held off the scoresheet until the third period.

The Knights lost Prust, however, with a minute left in the second period when he was assessed a charging major and game misconduct as he left his feet to hit Matt Lashoff.

Trevor Kell, also on the checking line, laid the lumber on Richards a couple of times, taking a slashing penalty in the second period.

Richards hit the far post with a shot from the blue-line during a power play late in the second period, and that was about as close as he came to scoring a goal.

Richards wore himself out killing penalties in the first two periods as the Knights enjoyed 10 power plays the first 40 minutes.
