Hitmen D Dylan Yeo, who had another stellar game patrolling the Calgary blueline, showed why he was a great trade deadline acquisition.

Hurricanes G Aaron Sorochan couldn't contain a wicked Andrew Ladd wrister, which hit his shoulder and dribbled over the line for the OT winner.

Hitmen C Shaun Landolt crushed Lethbridge C Mark Olafson into the boards with a flying bodycheck late in the first period. Landolt got an elbowing penalty, while Olafson needed medical attention but returned to start the second.
