2. Tyrel Lucas, Hitmen: Had Hitmen's lone goal.

3. Mark Olafson, Hurricanes: Helped shut down Ryan Getzlaf's line and scored first goal.

SPARKPLUG:

Brodie Dupont did his best to get under the Hurricanes' skin by continually yapping at them. Also assisted on Lucas' tally.

TURNING POINT:

The Hitmen quickly lost any momentum gained from Justin Pogge's huge penalty shot save as shortly thereafter, Colton Yellow Horn potted the game-winner with 4:24 left in the contest.

HIT OF THE GAME:

A fuming Andrew Ladd drove Lethbridge's John Lammers hard into the boards while the referee had his arm up to dole out a goaltender interference call against the Hitmen's power forward.

SAVE OF THE GAME:

Justin Pogge came up big on a penalty shot stop of the Hurricanes John Lammers late in the third. Lammers fired a low wrist shot but Pogge kicked out his right pad for the huge save.
