RED DEER REBELS 4 CALGARY HITMEN 3 (OVERTIME)

- - -

SUN THREE STARS:

1. Shaun Landolt, Hitmen -- Another good game for the 20-year-old, who has scored in the last three contests.

2. Ryan Getzlaf, Hitmen -- Showed all kinds of hustle and the type of play the Hitmen need from their captain in the playoffs.

3. Joel Henituik, Rebels -- Tallied twice, including the game-tying goal in the third.

- - -

HARDEST WORKER:

Andrew Ladd, Hitmen -- Helped Calgary's top line of himself, Ryan Getzlaf and Shaun Landolt dominate just about every time they stepped on the ice.

- - -

TURNING POINT:

Calgary's Shaun Landolt took an obstruction-holding penalty and the Rebels capitalized to tie the game at 13:43 of the third.

- - -

HIT OF THE GAME:

It was Rebel on Rebel as Red Deer's Chris Niesner and Dion Phaneuf collided hard at their own blueline. Both went down in tangle of sticks and skates.

- - -

SAVE OF THE GAME:

Calgary's Justin Pogge came up big in the second when Red Deer busted in on a 3-on-1 and the Hitmen 'tender just got the tip of his glove on a Tyler Johnson blast destined for the top corner.
