TURNING POINT:

Konstantin Pushkarev sent a laser over Kyle Moir's glove on a Hitmen powerplay in sudden death. The import rookie has scored two OT winners in the past three games.

SAVE OF THE GAME:

Calgarian Kyle Moir kept the Broncos in it for two periods. Late in the second, two Hitmen snuck behind the Swift Current defence. Darryl Moscaluk slid a pass across to Konstantin Pushkarev but Moir slid across and got his glove on it to keep it tied.

HIT OF THE GAME:

Speedy RW Steve Covington caught David Murray near centre and threw him into the boards halfway through the second period.

HARDEST WORKER:

RW Brett O'Malley played a tenacious game. He earned a first-period penalty shot after being hauled down on a shorthanded breakaway but was unable to convert.

The Hitmen (30-18-6-3), third in the Central Division, moved to within two points of Lethbridge and Medicine Hat in the battle for home-ice advantage.

Rookie C Ryan White drew an assist on Calgary's first goal, giving him helpers on four straight Hitmen goals ... D Jeff Schultz is the only Hitmen to play in all 57 games this season ... Calgary has outscored Swift Current 15-4 in four games this season.
