TURNING POINT:

The Hitmen turned a tight 2-0 game into a runaway with a pair of goals less than two minutes apart late in the second period. Ryan Getzlaf and Brett Carson each scored powerplay goals to blow the game wide open.

Calgary D Dylan Yeo threw Kamloops D Ray Macias down after the Blazer had the new Hitmen defenceman lined up for a big hit.

Justin Pogge wasn't overly busy but made a flurry of stops on a Blazers powerplay early in the first period.

This is the third clash of the year between the Hitmen and Pats. Calgary has won both meetings, 4-1 at the 'Dome and 4-2 in Regina.

HITMEN -- LW Konstantin Pushkarev has been on fire as of late and had a pair of goals in Wednesday night's win over the Saskatoon Blades.
