Brian Kilrea decided to stand pat.
The 67's coach and GM fielded some calls yesterday, but in the end he was all talk and no action as the OHL's trade deadline passed at 6 p.m.
After making numerous changes through the course of the season, Kilrea decided enough was enough and now he wants the 67's to focus on getting ready for a run to the post-season.
"We identified our needs before the deadline and we went out to make what we felt were the necessary changes," said Kilrea.
"We wanted to beat the rush. If somebody called (yesterday) and they were willing to give us something that we felt would help, then we would have made changes, but we feel good about the team we've got here."
Kilrea said he's hoping now that the trade deadline has passed the 67's who may have been nervous will relax.
"I'm sure there were some players who were sitting there wondering what was going to happen and they may have been thinking that there could be trades on the way," said Kilrea.
