TURNING POINT:

Shaun Landolt and Konstantin Pushkarev scored powerplay goals 25 seconds apart in the second period to give the Hitmen a lead they would never surrender.

SAVE OF THE GAME:

On a first-period Rebels powerplay, Blair Jones walked in to the top of the circles and teed it up but Hitmen 'tender Scott Bowles flashed the leather to keep the visitors off the board.

HIT OF THE GAME:

Hitmen C Shaun Landolt crushed Red Deer's Shaden Moore along the boards in the Calgary zone during a Rebels powerplay in the first period. Moore was forced to the bench to shake off the cobwebs.

HARDEST WORKER:

Calgary RW Lee Zalasky made a fantastic pass on Calgary's third goal and finished his checks throughout the physical tilt.
