Canada (2-0) vs Germany (0-2): - When: tonight at 7:08 p.m. Ralph Engelstad Arena, Grand Forks, N.D.

- Of note: Canada came up with a much more convincing effort in an 8-1 win over Sweden yesterday. Germany, meanwhile, lost 6-0 to Sweden on Sunday night and has been outscored 10-1 in its first two games of the tournament. Canada's penalty killing unit has given up two goals in 17 opportunities. Germany won the Division I Group A last year, edging Denmark by one point in the standings.

- Germany: players to watch

G Thomas Greis -- The third round pick (94th overall) of the San Jose Sharks in the 2004 NHL entry draft, is known as the next up-and-coming goalkeeper from Germany. He plays for Kolner Haie of the DEL.

LW Kai Hospelt -- The only other German player drafted, also by the Sharks (216th overall in 2003), has played in the DEL since the 2001-02 season. He had two goals and two assists in last year's WJC.

C Marcus Kink -- The undrafted centre led Germany in scoring last year with five goals and six assists and is expected to be the top offensive threat.
