The Hitmen scored four unanswered third-period goals to beat the Swift Current Broncos Sunday, giving the club a 9-5-2-1 record. The 'Canes also rallied to beat Moose Jaw 8-7 Sunday. They come in with a mark of 6-6-4-1.

HEAD-TO-HEAD:

The Hitmen won both matchups this season, prevailing 4-3 at home and escaping with a 2-1 win, thanks to overage RW Lee Zalasky's OT winner, on Oct. 20 in Lethbridge. Calgary was 4-2-1-0 against the 'Canes last year, winning all three games at the 'Dome.

WHO'S HOT:

*HITMEN -- C Ryan Getzlaf caught fire on the weekend. He scored twice and set up Andrew Ladd's shorthanded marker in the third against Speedy Creek.

*HURRICANES -- C Kyle Pess tied the game and then potted the winner with a little more than a minute left to lead Lethbridge past Moose Jaw.

WHO'S NOT:

*HITMEN -- G Scott Bowles had a tough weekend, giving up seven goals in a 7-0 loss in Medicine Hat.

*HURRICANES -- Czech import C Martin Ruzicka has just one goal and two points through 15 games.

SPECIAL TEAMS:

*Powerplay -- Calgary 10.5% (11-105, 18th); Lethbridge 13.6% (14-103, 12th).

*Penalty killing -- Cal 84.5% (10th); Leth 87.9% (8th).
