Justin Pogge had a rough outing last night, but he didn't get much help from his Marlies teammates in a 6-1 loss to the Rochester Americans in AHL action at Blue Cross Arena.

Janis Sprukts had a goal and two assists to lead the Americans while Drew Larman, Michael Ryan, Dylan Hunter, Marek Zagrapan and Clarke MacArthur added singles in front of a crowd of 8,477.

Pogge gave up six goals on 34 shots.

Winger Brad Leeb had the lone goal for the Marlies, who play host to the Springfield Falcons today at 4 p.m.
