The International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame will grow by six inductees this spring, the organization announced Friday.

Players Steve Yzerman, Nicklas Lidstrom, Vyzachesla Bykov, Andrei Khomutov, and Ruslan Salei, as well as builder Murray Costello, will be inducted in May.

The IIHF Hall of Fame will have 195 members from 23 countries once the 2014 class is officially inducted.

The inductees have shown "brilliant performance under historic pressure as well as long-lasting excellence," according to a IIHF press release.

Canadian Yzerman, Swede Lidstrom, Russian Khomutov and Belarussian Salei, all enjoyed impressive careers suiting up for their respective national squads. Costello, another Canadian, is best known for his time as an IIHF executive.
