Rocco Mediate turned it into a rout.

Best known for his heads-up showdown with Tiger Woods in a Monday playoff at the 2008 U.S. Open, Mediate fired a 7-under 64 in Sunday's final round to roll to a seven-shot triumph at the Champions Tour's Shaw Charity Classic at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club.

The 50-year-old now has six PGA Tour trophies and two Champions Tour titles on his resume.

Mediate earned $300,000 for his superb performance in Calgary. His seven-shot edge is the largest margin of victory on the Champions Tour since the 2011 AT&T Championship.

Tom Byrum also fired a 64 in Sunday's final round to climb the leaderboard and finish solo second at 15-under.
