Calgary Sun columnist Eric Francis first reported the news late last month and the Champions Tour made it official Wednesday, announcing its schedule for the upcoming season includes the inaugural Calgary Golf Classic, with three rounds of competition from Aug. 30-Sept. 1 at Canyon Meadows.
