Mike Weir addressed a storied past and an uncertain future during a conference call Wednesday to mark the 10th anniversary of his Masters victory.

There was plenty of looking back to that magical moment in Canadian golf on a late Sunday afternoon in April at Augusta in 2003, and rightly so. But there will be plenty of time for that in the two-week run-up to golf's rite of Spring -- especially with a documentary Four Days in April: The Mike Weir Story airing in the days preceding the Masters.

The pressing question is whether or not the first Canadian and left-handed player to win the storied Masters will be able to mark the anniversary of his watershed moment by actually playing in it.

Tragically, as it has been for the past few years of the once-great Bright's Grove, Ont., native's career, the answer is one filled with hope that an injury will allow it.
