ILE-BIZARD Que. - The former pizza delivery man delivered again on Friday.

Tim Petrovic, who worked as a pizza baker and delivery man before making a name for himself in the golf world, managed to hold on to a share of the lead at the RBC Canadian Open after second round play on Friday, by shooting a -4 under 66, putting him on top of the leader board with Jim Furyk, at 130.

Furyk and Canadian Graham DeLaet shot course records 63 on the windy Royal Montreal course, while Petrovic, who led after the first round with fellow American Michael Putnam, put together a nice, steady round to stay in the hunt. Putnam shot a 70 to fall four strokes back.

Petrovic’s showing at this week’s Canadian Open is particularly impressive given the fact that, as the final guy to make it into the field, the final alternate, he didn’t even get a practice round at the Royal Montreal. His first round on Thursday was his first time on the course this week.
