All hail King Henrik.

Golf's version, that is.

Henrik Stenson is enjoying the spoils of his victories, both on his home continent and in golf's epicentre, the United States. He also has earned the hard-to-come-by respect and praise of fellow players, who can do nothing but acknowledge the resurgent Swede's incredible back half of 2013.

And in a crazy year in which the PGA Tour ended its season in September and began anew in October, and the European Tour just concluded its 2013 season last week, it makes Stenson's feat all the more impressive.

Stenson had a fantastic final stretch to the PGA Tour 2013 season, capturing its made-for-drama FedExCup and the $10-million prize that goes along with it. He capped that run by winning the Tour Championship.

Then, last week, Stenson kept his hot play alive by winning the European Tour equivalent of the FedExCup, called the Race to Dubai, with his victory at the DP World Tour Championship, the Euro Tour championship.
