It’s that time of year again.

With the bulk of the meaningful golf out of the way and a week off between the Tour Championship and the Presidents Cup, the PGA Tour is set to hand out its Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards.

Let’s face it, folks, they might as well do it right now. Although voting from PGA Tour members officially closes Thursday at 5 p.m. EST. and the winners aren’t announced until Friday, there won’t be any surprises here.

Tiger Woods, Player of the Year.

Jordan Spieth, Rookie of the Year.

There really is almost no way to debate these outcomes, but out of respect to the other players — all of whom had wonderful seasons in their own right — here’s a look at all of the nominees and the reasons they were put forward for the awards.
