The two Canadians are making progress - great progress - towards earning their first wins on the PGA Tour with Hearn coming closest, losing a heartbreaker in a playoff at the John Deere Classic Sunday.

DeLaet arrived here Sunday to play in the British Open, his first major, but with the whirlwind of getting here and the time difference, he couldnít stay up Sunday night to watch Hearn try and capture his first win.

Hearn had a couple of great chances to win against former Masters champ Zach Johnson and 19-year-old rising star Jordan Spieth, the best being a four-foot, 10-inch putt for the victory on the fourth of what turned out to be five playoff holes.
