A bad round of golf can make you cranky, but Bubba Watson perhaps went a little too far.

Watson went off the rails after giving up the lead following a triple-bogey on the par-3 16th hole during the final round of the Travelers Championship on Sunday.

He was caught lashing out at his caddie Ted Scott during CBS’s broadcast of the event after hitting his tee shot into the water, firing his initial approach shot past the green and coming up well short of the hole on his first putt. Watson criticized Scott’s club selection after the first two shots.

The 2012 Masters champion began the 16th with a two-shot lead and finished it one back.

Watson acknowledged the events, later tweeting, “Picked the wrong club on the 16th hole. But it was still a great week. Thanks to the fans & Travelers for another great tourney!”

Watson finished in fourth place at 10-under par, two back of winner Ken Duke.
