Best of the best vie for Honda Classic title
McIlroy, Woods among five top 10 golfers in running

It's the kind of field that brings out the crowds and fills the air with electricity while adding a bit of excitement to the lives of the grinders on the PGA Tour.

If this year's Honda Classic is anything like last year's, it will be one for the ages, with five of the top 10 players in the world in the field, including No. 1 Rory McIlroy and No. 2 Tiger Woods.

McIlroy is the defending champion at PGA National and Woods came in second in 2012, shooting a career-best final round of 62 to come within two strokes of the young Irishman. It was after his Honda Classic win that McIlroy ascended to the top of the world rankings for the first time.

"A bunch of the big guys are here "¦ it's probably the best field this year so far," Tour rookie Brad Fritsch of Ottawa said from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., this week.
