So close to the famous Hollywood sign, David Hearn arrives at this week’s Northern Trust Open, not as a marquee name on the PGA Tour, but somebody who is becoming a solid member of the supporting cast.

Last year, Hearn went over the million-dollar mark and took a good ride through the FedEx Cup playoffs including a tie for 10th at the Barclays and a T26 at the Deutsche Bank before his T65 at the BMW Championship left him short of the Tour Championship.
