LA QUINTA, CALIF. - Twice now this fall Adam Hadwin has come so close to getting his hand on a 2013 PGA Tour card.
A month ago, he rallied with a bogey-free final-round 65 at the Web.com Tour Championship and, for about half an hour, sat in 25th place on the tour's money list, the last spot to earn a card.
A birdie by James Hahn on the 72nd hole of the tournament knocked Hadwin back to 30th place.
Monday, despite his fourth-straight 68 at PGA Tour Qualifying School, Hadwin came up just short of the top 25 plus ties and was denied a card again.
