The Canadian Open host wants you to send a tweet to Tiger Woods.
Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver started the social media experiment through their website, trying to entice the former world No. 1 to play in the tournament most top golfers usually skip on the schedule due to the British Open the week before.
"We are joining together across Canada to send Tiger Woods Tweets in hopes that he will attend the 2011 Canadian Open here at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club," the course posted online, with a link to tweet Tiger.
Woods has not played in the Canadian Open since 2001. He won the event in 2000 at Glen Abbey in Oakville, Ont.
This year's tournament will be held July 21-24.
