Tiger Woods is afraid his wife will leave him and will take away his two children.

That is the message from a source close to the Woods’ camp, says the New York Post.

"He's only just coping - he's on the edge," the source said. "He sees everything coming crashing down around him. His career, his family."

The source said Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, is refusing to speak with him and has stipulated that Woods must get some therapy if he ever wants to patch up the marriage.

Nordegren, in the meantime, has showed off her ringless hands to photographers, indicating that the marriage remains in limbo.

Rumours continue to swirl about where Woods and his wife plan to live next. Nordegren has reportedly bought a secluded mansion in Sweden while Woods may be contemplating a move to France.

The Post is reporting Woods’ advisors are talking to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s real estate agent – the one who found the couple a $70-million mansion there.

But the Woods family must find it hard to concentrate on their marital problems when every day brings new revelations of sleaze.

It was reported on Tuesday that Woods had a regular system of paying off his many girlfriends - with amounts of up to $20,000 being received monthly.

MSNBC.com reports that several women were the regular recipients of wire transfers of $5,000- $10,000 a month, and one woman was receiving $20,000.

“The money comes via a wire transfer,” said one woman, quoted on MSNBC.com. “There’s no contract about it, there’s no discussion about what it’s for, but it’s implied that it’s in exchange for keeping quiet about his affair.”

One of the women allegedly linked to Woods is beginning to spill details of their one-night liaison. Porn star Holly Sampson told the UK’s Sun that she was invited to a surprise birthday party for Woods at a five-star California hotel. She put on a “wild” show with two female friends and then Woods’ female assistant told her he wanted to see her “alone.”

"It was a very sensual, beautiful experience. I wanted to give him a birthday to remember,” Sampson is quoted as saying.

Another girlfriend, Cori Rist, was interviewed on the NBC Today show, saying she is telling her story because she is being accused of being a prostitute or just after Woods’ money.

The 31-year-old single mom from Manhattan said she met Woods in a New York bar and the affair began later that night. She said they arranged to meet one or two times a month for sex and Woods would allegedly arrange for them to have adjoining hotel rooms booked under different names.

Woods’ told her at the time that his marriage to Nordegren was shaky, but later on she realized she was just being strung along.

"I realized the things he was telling me were false," Rist said. "He has a way to make you believe that he is a very honest and good man.”

"I'm just sorry for her pain," Rist said of Nordegren.

"I hate that I'm a part of it. ... I just believed what he was telling me."

She said the affair was broken off when Woods invited her to travel with him to California, Dubai and Australia and she refused.
