As if Tiger Woods’ reputation could not possibly sink any faster, there are reports that nude photos of the golfer have surfaced and are being offered to Playgirl magazine online.

Life & Style magazine is reporting that nude images of Woods have been offered for sale by an anonymous person and the online magazine is currently verifying if the photos are real.

"We're currently trying to authenticate the photos before we make any decisions on purchasing the Tiger Woods pics and ascertaining the value," Playgirl's representative Daniel Nardicio told Life & Style.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton is suggesting the photos are cell-phone pictures and were taken by one of Woods’ girlfriends. Hilton alleges the photos are images of Woods’ genitals.

This news comes during a tumultuous day which began in the early hours of the morning when Woods’ mother-in-law was taken by stretcher out of the golf star's Orlando-area home and rushed to a Florida hospital.

Health Central Hospital spokesman Dan Yates said Barbro Holmberg, 57, was admitted to hospital with stomach pains but is now in stable condition and her condition was not serious.

The incident occurred at 2:35 a.m. and involved paramedics and local firefighters.

It was reported that Holmberg is currently living in the Windermere home to be with her daughter, Woods' wife Elin Nordegren, and her grandchildren. Holmberg, a Swedish politician, was the former minister for Migration and Asylum Policy in 2003 and is currently county governor for Gavleborg in central-east Sweden.

Eva Malmborg, a spokesperson for Holmberg, said today from Sweden that she could not comment on reports of the incident in Florida.

"I haven't been in contact with (Holmberg) and, like I said, I don't know where she is - and so I can neither confirm or deny anything," Malmborg said.

Holmberg is reportedly away from her post on a leave of absence.

Shortly after an ambulance arrived at the Woods home, a black SUV driven by another blonde woman - who has been tentatively identified as Woods’ wife - arrived. The SUV followed the ambulance to the hospital.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is confirming that fire department medics responded to a 911 call at Woods’ home but did not give further details.

This incident comes a day after Nordegren moved out of the house in Windermere, according to the New York Post. It is unclear whether Nordegren took the couple’s two children with her. The Woods have a two-year-old daughter, Sam Alexis, and a son, Charlie Axel, who was born in February.

TMZ is also reporting that when Woods entered the hospital on the day of his SUV accident, Nov. 27, he was listed as an "overdose" patient. Paramedics at the scene asked if Woods was on medication and his wife produced two bottles of prescription drugs, Ambien and Vicodin, the site reported. Ambien is a drug used to treat insomnia, while Vicodin is taken to relieve severe pain.

Woods was admitted to the Health Central Hospital under the name ‘William Smith’ with his wife at his side and doctors used a tube to assist his breathing. TMZ also says the fifth floor of the hospital was under lockdown while Woods was being treated.

A police report on the crash released yesterday showed that Florida police trooper Joshua Evans, who suspected Woods was driving under the influence, sought a subpoena for the golfer’s blood results from the hospital, but prosecutors rejected the petition for insufficient information.

A witness, who wasn’t identified in the report, told Evans that Woods had been drinking alcohol earlier in the day.

Woods’ personal life has been the subject of intense media speculation ever since the late-night crash.

As many as 10 women - night club promoters, waitresses and even a porn star - have claimed to have had affairs with one of the world’s richest athletes. Many of the women are reportedly hiring lawyers and selling their stories to media outlets.

TMZ is also reporting that the upcoming wedding of Woods’ childhood friend, Byron Bell, will go ahead as scheduled. Woods was to be the best man at Bell’s wedding Saturday in South Carolina.

Bell is reportedly the confidant who had a role in arranging illicit liaisons for Woods. Allegedly, Bell arranged for Las Vegas nightclub promoter Rachel Uchitel to be flown to Australia last month while Woods played in the Australia Masters. Woods won for the seventh time this year and pocketed a $3 million appearance fee.

The celebrity gossip story took another bizarre turn Monday as reports had one of Woods’ alleged lovers saying that Tiger’s marriage to Nordegren was a "sham." An unidentified woman who said she had a two-year affair with Woods quoted the golfer as saying his marriage was, "just for publicity."

The New York Daily News is reporting that Nordegren recently purchased a $2-million mansion on a secluded island in Sweden. The Daily News says that, officially, Nordegren bought the house for her twin-sister, Josefin, but there is speculation it could now be the home of Woods’ children and their mother.

The mansion was formerly owned by a professional soccer player and is only accessible from Stockholm by ferry.
