Victoria, Australia - Paul Sheehan managed a one-over 72 Sunday, but it was enough for a two-stroke victory at the Victorian Open Golf Championship.

Sheehan finished the tournament at eight-under-par 276. It was his second victory on the Australasian Tour. Sheehan's other tour title was at the 2006 Jacob's Creek Open, which was co-sanctioned by the Nationwide Tour.

Matthew Griffin also closed with a one-over 72 to take second at minus-six. Tony McNaughton carded a two-under 69 to grab third at five-under-par 279.

Sheehan birdied the par-four second to move to 10-under. He stumbled to back- to-back bogeys from the seventh. Sheehan got one stroke back with a birdie on the ninth at Spring Valley Golf Club.

The 33-year-old Australian slipped back to minus-eight after a bogey on the par-five 12th. Sheehan parred the final seven holes to win by two.

Griffin parred the first six holes before sinking a birdie effort on the seventh to get within one of the lead. He tripped to bogeys at eight and nine to fall back to six-under. Griffin birdied the 11th, but gave that stroke back with a bogey at 16. He parred the last two holes to end two shots back.

Steven Jones and Aaron Townsend both closed with 72s to share fourth place at four-under-par 280. James Nitties (71) and Adam Crawford (67) were the final players in red figures at one-under-par 283.
