She's committed, but on Monday she was non-committal.

Not even 24 hours after the biggest moment in her young golfing life, a tie for 10th at the U.S. Women's Open at the age of 16, the first question Brooke Henderson faced Monday in a call with Canadian media was, "Are you now going to turn professional?"

A valid question to a rising Canadian star who made her mark Sunday in a major championship on the LPGA, which has morphed into a young women's tour. And while it's clear the Smiths Falls, Ont. teen is thinking about it, she was being coy as she prepared for this week's Canadian Women's Tour stop in Niagara Falls.

"I am still committed to the University of Florida right now, but we'll just see," Henderson said. "I mean, LPGA is definitely my goal and I hope to have a successful career out there sometime soon, but I don't know when that is right now -- if it's this year, next year or four years after I finish university."
