TORONTO - The LPGA returns to Grey Silo in Waterloo this weekend for a third consecutive Manulife Financial Classic with all eyes fixed on American Stacy Lewis.

The Texas native comes into the weekend having won in New Jersey last weekend for her second tour victory of the year and 10th top-10 finish.

With that win she took over the top spot on the money list from Inbee Park, who had held the position for five straight weeks. Park was no slouch herself last week, tying for eighth but failing to hold off Lewis.

Lewis tied for fifth and sixth here at Grey Silo in 2012 and 2013. The course fits her game in that it gives up a lot of birdies but if it stays windy through the weekend like it has been since Monday, you won’t hear Lewis complain.

“It’s a golf course you have to make a ton of birdies on and I led the tour in birdies last year, and I think I’m leading that stat this year, so I think that fits my game,” Lewis told reporters Wednesday.
